Introduction to Shaoxing wine and the cultural city of Shaoxing

On May 9, the event “Yue Wine Reaches the World,” introducing Shaoxing wine and the cultural city of Shaoxing, together with a tasting of Guyue Longshan “Zhi Ci Qing Yu,” was held at the Imperial Hotel Tokyo.
The event was hosted by the Shaoxing Municipal People's Government and co-organized by its Foreign Affairs Office, the Shaoxing Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism Bureau, and China Shaoxing Yellow Wine Group Co., Ltd. (Guyue Longshan).
Shaoxing wine was already distributed throughout China in the Ming and Qing dynasties. It is said that Emperor Qianlong tasted the wine during a visit to Shaoxing and wrote “Yue wine travels throughout the world.”
Shaoxing wine is a Chinese wine well known in Japan. We invite you to try “Guyue Longshan” Shaoxing wine.
